I was pleased with the variety of images I shot on Saturday with Amy and Shastyn They were great to work with and the shoot didn't drag at all. We shot what could be split into eight different sets, from Tool Girls, to Chainsaws, to Jeep Girls, to Pirates, to Pirate Jeep Girls, they were very flexible and transitioned well from one set to the next.

This was the first time I've really felt comfortable using the 5D MK II. Before I think it had a lot to do that the video feature of the camera wasn't working correctly and I felt like the camera was crippled. When I got it back the second time from Canon I was kinda pissed at the camera and cannon. They were cool and fixed it and all but it was just the fact of paying for it and having to send it back twice that really cut into me and made me question "do I really need it"? Now my answer is a resounding yes, of course I do. Not only do I need it, but I need lenses, more lenses, and a good tripod for video.
